Chad A. Paulson, D.C.

I’m Dr. Chad A. Paulson and very excited to have you see the new look of Boulevard Chiropractic. Since purchasing Boulevard in 2014, we have completely remodeled the clinic and added new equipment and services.

I graduated from Northwestern College of Chiropractic in 2011 and have since expanded my skillset to specialize in soft tissue injuries and working with athletes/active people. It has been my experience that combining muscle and trigger point work with the Chiropractic adjustment speeds the healing process immensely. To achieve this, I am Full Body certified in Active Release (ART) and Graston Techniques, the two premier soft tissue techniques used by virtually all professional and collegiate athletic teams. I am enrolled in the Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician program, level 1 certified in Functional Movement Screens (FMS) and trained in athletic taping. I study and use a variety of chiropractic techniques (Manual Diversified, Flexion-distraction, Activator, and Spinal Decompression) because people respond differently to various treatment styles.I am a Titleist Performance Institute Certified Golf Instructor, which helps golfers with understanding how the human body functions in relation to the golf swing. I am also an Army Master Fitness Trainer and have an interest in Nutrition and ergonomic and postural correction.

I am originally from Jackson, MN and attended Concordia College in Moorhead, MN. I joined the MN National Guard in 2003 and have deployed to Iraq (2005-07) and to Kuwait (2011-12). I first became interested in chiropractic after experiencing firsthand, the need for chiropractic care in the military. Currently I am the MN Chiropractic Association Veteran’s Affairs Committee Chair and have lobbied both State and Federal congress to include chiropractic care for Service Members and their families.

In my free time, I enjoy traveling, spending time with my wife, Denise, my 2-year-old daughter Piper, family and friends, and staying active. We enjoy most outdoor activities from: snowboarding, golfing, hiking, biking, camping, running, etc. I look forward to helping you reach your healthcare and fitness goals.

Desiree’ Platteter, D.C., L.Acu.

I’m Dr. Desiree’ Platteter and I am happy to be joining the Boulevard Clinic and am excited to bring Acupuncture, Pediatrics, Fertility, Applied Kinesiology (AK) and Nutritional Response Testing (NRT/EMT) to the clinic in addition to chiropractic.

I grew up in Winter, WI (it’s near Hayward), attended the University of Wisconsin La Crosse on a full academic scholarship where I created a new Bachelor’s in Science Degree: Biomedical Emphasis due to my numerous biology, chemistry, anatomy, physiology, and neurology classes.

I attended Palmer College of Chiropractic where I also pursued an EMT-Intermediate Certification and obtained my Masters in Neuroanatomy and did stem cell research that contributed to the breakthrough in unwinding the DNA double helix human genome under Dr. John Seebach.

My husband and I moved to Minneapolis 14 years ago so I could attend Northwestern Health Sciences University to pursue acupuncture.

I specialize in pediatrics and pregnancy and spend all my free time with my energetic 7 year old son and husband outdoors exploring all the beautiful parks and trails. We enjoy biking, swimming, snowboarding, and snow shoeing, our most recent hobby is paddle boarding so any night or weekend you will find us out on the lakes.

Nathan E. Wheat, D.C., CVSMT

I’m Dr. Nathan Wheat and I am thrilled to join Boulevard Chiropractic and bring the NUCCA technique to St. Louis Park (approximately only 250 NUCCA Chiropractor worldwide). I have spent 4 years in Ames, Iowa honing my skills in NUCCA under Dr. Barb Read, who literally wrote the book on the technique. I am also certified in the Graston Technique, making me one of the few in the world that do both techniques.

In 2018 I decided to start a post graduate program at the Healing Oasis Wellness Center in Wisconsin to become certified in Veterinary Spinal Manipulation Therapy, aka Animal Chiropractic. It is so much fun to now be able to bring the same great benefits that humans receive into your companion or work animals. I am certified in both large and small animals. If you are interested in this for your pets, you need a referral from your primary veterinarian which we can send to you or directly to them.

I grew up in Apple Valley, MN and joined the US Air Force straight out of high school. I served for over 5 years until injuries that I sustained in a terrorist attack, for which I received a purple heart, forced me to retire. While attending the College of Chiropractic at Northwestern Health Sciences University I was exposed to NUCCA as an alternative to the crunching, twisting, and popping of the more traditional chiropractic techniques.

I am married with two children, both boys. I try to spend as much time with my family as possible, you can often find us at the MN Zoo when I’m away from the clinic. Other hobbies include hiking, biking, swimming.

Jada, Chiropractic Assistant

My name is Jada and I’m the Chiropractic Assistant here at Boulevard Chiropractic Clinic. I use she/her and they/them pronouns. I am a recent graduate of the University of Minnesota where I got my bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies. In my free time, I love to create! I design clothing from second-hand material and run my very own online vintage shop. The rest of my free time you’ll find me spending time outside, playing basketball, practicing yoga, reading a book, or studying astrology (I’m a Taurus). I look forward to assisting you!

Sherrie, Chiropractic Assistant, Billing Administrator

Sherrie is the Billing Administrator at Boulevard Chiropractic Clinic. She has been a Massage Therapist for over 10 years as well. She specializes mostly in Deep Tissue massage, but does it all. She was born and raised in MN and “will probably never leave”.

If I’m not at work you will find me spending time with my family, my husband and two wild boys! I enjoy reading, watching football, biking, running, rollerblading or pretty much anything else outside but I also watch way too much TV.
