My name is Dr. Rod Opferkew and I joined the wellness team at Boulevard Chiropractic Clinic in December of 2004. I am originally from the small town of Crookston, MN. I completed my Bachelor of Science degree in biology and chemistry at Concordia College in Moorhead, MN in 2000. I became a licensed Doctor of Chiropractic after graduating from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN in November of 2003. It is my goal to help people understand that chiropractic is about restoring one’s health from within, without the need for drugs or surgery, and the importance of total wellness and being healthy for life. I have a strong interest in both radiology and nutrition, and plan to continue to add to my education in those fields. I am currently an active member of the American Chiropractic Association and the Christian Chiropractor’s Association. In my spare time, I enjoy a wide variety of activities that include playing sports, watching Minnesota sports teams, reading, fishing, travel and getting involved in the community at my church.
